Not to place information on the lock screen .

Easy to use and understand. Create medical ID information for emergency responders. Also a great place to store your medical history (procedures, vaccinations, etc) Store photographic images of Covid information, insurance cards, inc.

I can never remember dates or procedures Also if I had an accident of some sort the Dr. would be able to look up my medical history including allergies, blood type etc. It’s a saving grace to know that if something ever happens to me my family Knows where to find the information concerning my health.

The app is a great tool to store information. It would nice to be able to put things into different folders. Like being able to have a folder for each Doctor that you visit, or for different injections that you have gotten. That would clean up the app and make it easier to find things. Other than that, good app.

I don’t know how this got such good reviews. For each category, which aren’t that many, there’s one field for a title and one field for a note - that’s it. Plus an option for a picture and pdf. No fields for doctors, dates, locations, surgeries, procedures, tests, emergency contacts, immunizations, med dosage, med frequency, med start/end date, etc. The app is clean and super simple, but missing A LOT of details. There’s many free apps that do a lot more than this $5 app.

I really appreciate this app, I’ve entered all my health problems, my doctors, prescription & vitamins! My docs really appreciate this & the spelling!

Review - Medical ID Records iPhone App by Geoff Hackworth. This is a must have app for your iPhone. It is far superior to Apple's own Medical ID. It is FREE to use and share. Among its best features - the ability to add images, e.g. of Rx bottles and to add PDF files - e.g. Your Directive to Physicians. Link to the app is available ON the Lock Screen in case of a REAL emergency. Several widgets come with the app. You have the ability to share ALL of your medical information or any one (or more) data element. Easily update-able. A must have!! Go to Apple App store, search for Medical ID Records.

Very helpful when going to the emergency room or new doctor. Open the app and give to the attending physician. Saves time and allow for accurate entry of data when kept up to date

Most medical record apps are too complicated to use, so I give up on them. This app is easy to use and complete. Am SOOO thankful to have found it!!

I have used this app for a many years. It just keep getting better and better. It’s so nice to have the information right there when your Doctor ask you about any medical questions or updates. My Doctor and his MA love it . I’ve passed this on to family and friends. Thanks to the developer of this app!!! THANK YOU

Keep updated and just present to nurse at doctor’s office. So handy

If you’re going to have a Medical ID app it needs to have the prescriptions included in and also your medical and surgical history. If somebody stumbles across you and you are in need of help this is a better way of assisting especially an ambulance driver, paramedic , or fireman personnel. The best medical application I have participated in over many years of using them. Easy to edit for updates.

No place to report my medical history for surgeries.

I had to find an app to use after My Medical stopped being offered. I looked at lots of apps but didn’t like how they worked for various reasons. This app is easy to use and intuitive. However, I would like more sections to store information. I would have liked to have a place to store tests that I’ve had. It would be useful to be able to store prescription information. It would also be nice to have a section to store all your doctors’ information. I really like how you can move items within a section to choose the order in which they appear. Thanks for a very nice app.

I recently had a need for Ambulance and my son quickly had access to my medical information information. The EMT thank me for having all medical Information in this site saved time to treat me And give information need it at ER Thank you for creating this life and time saving app.

I take my iPad with the app to all doctors visits. I can have my medicine list handy and can document doctors instructions

I enjoy having the information available so quickly when I need it but feel that it is too difficult to edit as needed. Not very user friendly.

I like this app. However, the data wont sync between my iphone 8 and my ipad pro otherwise I would give it morestars

Let’s me keep track if meds I take

The app is perfect for what I need. Helps to keep everything organized and I can open it for quick references when visiting a Dr. The only suggestion I have is, it possible to add a drop down to add different Dr.a and their contact information? Hope it’s added in an update.

This is really a great app. Very well thought out and provides peace of mind to my wife when I’m on the road. Only suggestion for improvement is a place to put drivers license and insurance card. I jury-rigged it to work, but a specific place would be nice. But all in all one of the more valuable apps on my phone Update: The widget is now useless. You can only do one contact or get a screen that takes half the phone. It worked great before. Why did you screw it up?

This is an easy app to have for people like myself that have medical conditions. This will be very handy if I ever in an ER, then police and EGG MT’s can look info up for proper Rex

Only wish a specific section for medical insurance was included. I did enter this info in the “Notes”, but would prefer a separate dedicated section.

This app has saved my tail on many occasions. I’ve had many Drs and Nurses who have now placed this app on their phones.

Good app straight forward, should get some additional details and more intuitive syncing between devices.

I have been looking for a app I can use to put all my emergency information in and share it with my contacts and keep up to date with me. This is it.

Love the application, I wanted something where I could add notes & add photos if necessary, like my insurance card or xrays & I can! I just wish that the application could be linked with Apple Health

Unfortunately, I have not been able to have the information appear on my lock screen. I have an iPhone 7. If it will not show, the program is a waste of space on my phone. Also, no where in the program is a help area.

Nearest nothing I’ve seen in an app. Name and vital info only. Nothing to list medications, allergies, or past procedures. Complete waste of money. I deleted.

Great app. You never know when you might end up in the hospital or with an medical emergency. Having all of this information in one spot is invaluable and could save your life.

Very important app for your front screen. In case of an emergency and you’re incapacitated. I use it every time I go to the doctor and have to fill out all those forms. All the information they want is right there. Same goes for your spouse. Most of us have no idea what medications or what the medical history is for our spouse.

Works as expected. Would like to see the green cross changed to something that stands out, maybe in red

There is a program for the iPhone called: Emergency ID. It’s not available on an iPad. Why do I like it so much? —- When the iPhone is asleep, and a doctor enters the wrong code to get into the iPhone, it displays: Emergency in the bottom-left corner; and without actually getting into the phone, it poops-up With ALL of my Medical information! This is great. Will you add this feature to your program?

It is great that all my information is readily available. The information I forget when going through triage is there. The only imperfection is probably not something that the developers can do. What if I am not conscious to unlock the phone or watch? I guess anyone can check my watch if I am wearing it. EMTs need to know about it. I was able to show one and she thought it was great. So more press and emergency unlock would make this absolutely perfect.

This is a great app for providing personal emergency medical info on both the iPhone and the Apple Watch. I got it primarily for its Apple Watch component and absolutely love it. I recently got a new iPhone and had a problem getting the Medical ID info to show up on the Apple Watch. The developer was VERY responsive in helping to resolve the problem. It was eventually solved by turning both the new iPhone AND Apple Watch off and on, which means the problem was with the new iPhone initialization process, not the app. If you have medical problems that you want any first responder to be aware of, I STRONGLY recommend this app.

I’ve been looking for something like this and finally found it! We had a medical event traveling away from home some time ago when we needed to call 911. It was difficult putting together the immediate medical info for the first responders in that circumstance. Having this info so readily available would have helped us. This app works great, very well put together. It gives options what info to include or not. Clean display. Looks great on the Today Screen. And have set that up to view on the Lock-screen. UPDATED APPLE WATCH REVIEW: Both Large and Small Complications are working perfectly on the Apple Watch 3 once I updated the iOS software. The developer is VERY responsive to questions and was helpful in helping me get the Watch set up properly. My “ideal” wish list would be to: Allow the addition of a birth year without having to put in month and day. Showing age is all that’s needed without giving private info. Although, I can make a date up. Have an If Found field where contact info can be added if the device became lost. I’d like to be able to add my own email or alternative phone number if my device is found and I can only add a different contact. Right now, I’m choosing to add that to a note which works - but doesn’t allow direct dial. Thank you!

The app does what it is designed well but I can’t find anywhere I can back up my medical data. Should use iCloud for backing up. This issue has been resolved, thank you. One other tweak I would like to see that would make this 5 star is a new category for “procedures” it looks like now those have to go under notes. 4 1/2 stars on its way to 5.

Don’t like it at all How can I get a refund

This is the simple, concise medical info app I’ve been looking for. Now with backup feature to keep all my devices synced with my medical information.

Purchased this so I could sync my iPhone with my iPad. Was on write up but I don’t see it in the app. Will ask for a refund if I don’t hear from the developer soon.

Had some problems with set up instructions and wrote an email with question. Got an immediate reply with excellent information. To me support is a key and this was great for a very good app!!

I couldn’t easily find a way to update my meds. As I see my doctors regularly and have my medications updated I need to be able to alter these quickly, or the David it’s in my Medical ID becomes out of Dayton dangerous. Other than that I really like this app. —updated my score after receiving feedback— Really useful application!

I saw that you couldn’t transfer data between iPad and iPhone, but didn’t realize I would have to purchase 2 separate licenses. Not doing it. UPDATE: Received a message from developer. I was unaware of the change in IOS 11 in the way you downloaded paid for apps. I have adjusted my rating and may increase it after using it more.

This is a great idea. I don't have an Apple Watch and have no intention of buying one. This app is pretty much useless to me if first responders and medical professionals can't access it without unlocking my phone. It should help if I'm unable to. Unless that condition is met, I just threw $2 down a hole.

It's ok but if my butt is unconscious, first of all in nyc my phone is stolen it's facts! But if it's not how will anyone know this app is in this phone? You need to add a medical alert on the screen or a screensaver, also making it easy to get to just the medical app for the persons medical history otherwise I wasted my money cause if my butt is unconscious nobody will know I have this app especially if I'm alone, and with my war ptsd I'm always alone. This app needs to be able to stay on the screen at all times and made easy to access

This is a wonderful app. I am an ICU nurse and often patients come up without any medical or contact information. It can be very important to us to have this info. In emergency situations, often the patient is too sick to give info, and families don't have it. Many elderly have cell phones today. It would be great if people would encourage them to use this app. Buy the app for friends or family. It is very inexpensive and actually could save their life. It's a great gift. Katherine, RN
